Kiss the Girls , written by James Patterson, was published by Little Brown and Company in 1995. It is the second novel about African-American Forensic Psychologist and Police Detective Alex Cross. The plot of the Novel follows Alex Cross on a new adventure as he is called to North Carolina to investigate a series of mysterious kidnappings of women, when he is informed that his niece Naomi is missing. While investigating where she and the other women could be, he and detectives Sampson, Nic Ruskin and Davey Sikes come across a murdered woman who they find bound to a tree in the woods. Meanwhile, medical intern Kate McTiernan is kidnapped from her home and upon awakening in her drugged state, she is introduced to her kidnapper as Casanova who wears masks to symbolize his mood.
