Image
I have numerous favourite years based on what happened in them that are directly or indirectly related to my interests as long as those years have something to do with 3, 5, 6, 7 or 9. The most favourite (which I consider the king of my favourite years) is 1999 because it was when I went to Singapore for the first time although I did not realize how much I love it until 2007. The year that marked the end of the 1990s will always be special for me because I discovered a place I love and there are interests that of mine that took place in that year since it was a great year for music, movies, television and places that have something to do with Lions. I would love to share with all of ye Movies March 12 th Wishmaster 2 : Evil Never Dies (directed by Jack Sholder) a sequel to the 1997 film Wishmaster about a corrupt genie is released direct-to-video rather than having a theatrical release April 9 th Never Been Kissed (directed by Raja Gosnell) becomes Drew Barrymore’s second hit a

The Jackal's thoughts on serving the Lion

Image
In the fables of India, the Lion is depicted as king of the animals and often has a jackal accompanying as a majordomo or a counterpart. The jackal is fiercely loyal to the Lion and carries out his orders or wishes without question and it is his devotion that the Lion is grateful for. At the same time, the jackal is often embarrassed or humiliated by the king of the beasts despite all that he does for him and nonetheless the jackal continues to strongly represent and support the Lion. The jackal’s views on serving the Lion evidently comes in both good and bad and here is what he might be thinking when he serves the king Good Points            There is no better honour than serving His Majesty     2.     What am I here for Your Highness?     3.     I make it my business to know things about you for my king     4.    I am your humble servant Your Majesty     5.    If they offend you my king, they offend me too. If they do great for you they do great for me too     6

The best places to visit in Kenya

Kenya The Africa of our dreams and the Jewel in East Africa’s Crown, Kenya is perhaps the Africa that comes to mind when we think of or hear the word ‘Africa’; It’s the lone acacia silhouetted on the savannah against a horizon stretching into eternity. It’s the snow-capped mountain almost on the equator and within sight of harsh deserts. It’s the lush, palm-fringed coastline of the Indian Ocean, it’s the Great Rift Valley that once threatened to tear the continent asunder, and it’s the dense forests reminiscent of the continent’s heart. In short, Kenya is a country of epic landforms that stir our deepest longings for this very special continent. Nairobi The capital of Kenya and the heart of East Africa -  Uhuru Park Commemorates Kenya’s independence from the UK -  Nairobi national park The premiere national park of Kenya’s capital -  National Museum Showcases the prehistory, history, people, cultures and wildlife of Kenya Mombasa The white and blue city of Kenya - Sri K

The best places to visit in South Africa

South Africa The jewel in the crown of Southern Africa, South Africa is one of the African continent's best safari destinations. One can drive right into the epic wilderness at Kruger or join khaki-clad rangers on guided drives and walks. Yet it is not all about large animal sightings – wildlife watching here also teaches one to enjoy the little things: a leopard tortoise ambling alongside the road or a bird chirping a distinctive chant in the trees Johannesburg The capital of South Africa and sometimes referred to as the ‘City of Gold’ is the wealthiest and most populous province in Southern Africa because of the discovery of gold in the late 1880s there. It underwent a building of four times as a tented camp, a tin shanty town, four-storey Edwardian brick buildings and now, a city of modern skyscrapers which boast the tallest in Africa itself - Museum Africa One of South Africa’s most exquisite landmarks containing geological history as well as that related to the

The best places to visit in Namibia

Namibia The driest nation in Southern Africa, few countries in Africa can match Namibia's sheer natural beauty. The country's name derives from its (and the world's) oldest desert, the Namib, and there are few more stirring desert realms on the planet, from the sand sea and perfect dead-tree valleys at Sossusvlei to the flamingos at Walvis Bay. Etosha national park, Namibia’s premiere national park is larger than the American state of New Jersey with popular stars such as the Lion, giraffe and elephant. With a versatility of desert and green, it is difficult to think of an iconic African landscape that Namibia does not possess             Windhoek Nestled among rolling hills in a valley created by the sloping Khomas Hochland Plateau to the West and the Auas Mountains to the East, Namibia's capital Windhoek is scenically situated. At an altitude of almost 1700m, the city avoids the excessive heat experienced in much of the rest of the country with
