Vikram's World

Some of the themes that helped me to create the story of a mother wrongly accused of murder…..   I needed to look back at the various points in my own life which have prompted me to think about situations where different feelings, particularly joyful ones, had to be brought out during melancholy times. This was required when I had to add information on the joyful past of a character whose current situation was extremely tragic. This was required in order to create a background for a family which was torn apart by the murder of one of its members. This I found rather difficult to do as I had to think from the point of view of the main character who was not only dealing with the loss of her husband but also with the challenges of carrying on without him. I related this to the movie “You’ve Got Mail” where Meg Ryan’s character is forced to carry on after the loss of her mother and her bookshop. It was a horrible sight to bear, a lifeless body which had been shot multiple times. There was blood on both, the wall and the floor. Mrs Hannah Albrecht walked into the house. On seeing her dead husband, Bryce, she let out a scream of horror and immediately called 911. Police, Detectives and paramedics converged on the house.   Kiss the Girls , written by James Patterson, was published by Little Brown and Company in 1995. It is the second novel about African-American Forensic Psychologist and Police Detective Alex Cross. The plot of the Novel follows Alex Cross on a new adventure as he is called to North Carolina to investigate a series of mysterious kidnappings of women, when he is informed that his niece Naomi is missing. The warriors kept themselves silently veiled behind either bush or tree, their weapons concealed. The evergreen forest was dense and very little light penetrated through the trees. A moa was busy pulling out and swallowing worms from a hole in the grass, unaware of the danger that lurked. Just then one of the warriors threw his spear and hit the moa in its side. The warriors waited for their target to fall and succumb to its wounds. They emerged from their hiding places when they felt it was safe and carried their kill back to their village with them. They were of the Ngati Haua tribe and the chief welcomed them back with the traditional welcome Haka to celebrate their successful hunt.
