Songs that should have been done by other singers

There are many a song which should have been done by other singers rather than the ones who already did them because the song in question would suit another singer more than the one who did it. Here are a few examples


Songs by the Backstreet Boys 











Everybody
‘Everybody’ should have been performed by the Vengaboys instead of the Backstreet Boys and been more ‘Beauty and the Beast’ centred rather than horror-centred if that was the case. If performed by Vengaboys instead of ‘Backstreet’s Back’ being the subtitle to the song, it should have been ‘Venga’s Back’




















Larger than Life‘Larger than Life’ would have looked better if performed by S Club (7). Interestingly Larger than Life is in a way similar to ‘S Club Party’ in the notion that they have the same level of excitement for listeners and both are related to science fiction though the latter is related to time travel and the former is related to space travel




















I want it that way‘I want it that Way’ also suits S Club (7) more than the Backstreet Boys since even though the Backstreet Boys are older than S Club (7), the latter is more famous




















All I have to Give
All I have to Give’ can be sung both by a band or a solo singer and Michael Jackson would have been a better choice to sing this song, having done other love-oriented songs such as ‘The way you make me feel’, ‘Billie Jean’ and ‘I just can’t stop loving you’





















Songs by the Black Eyed Peas















Where is the Love
'Where is the Love?' is more suited to Aqua as their songs are always heaving emphasized on their subject, whatever it may be

















Don't Lie
'Don't Lie' is almost in the same tone of Aqua’s ‘Turn Back Time’ and ‘Didn’t I’ and thus would have been better sung by Aqua as well














Gotta Feeling'Gotta Feeling' would be another Aqua-suited song since it is similar to 'Happy Boys and Happy Girls






















Songs by Jamelia


















Superstar
‘Superstar’ was originally sung by Danish singer Christine Milton and remade by Jamelia. Katy Perry who was just rising in her career as a singer would have been a better candidate to remake the song

Thank You
'Thank You' would have looked better if sung by Vanessa Amorosi





















Songs by 50 Cent















In Da Club  
It would have been interesting to see what it may have been like to see Scottish Actor Ewan McGregor, known for his role as ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ in ‘The Phantom Menace’ and is sometimes a singer, cover ‘In Da Club’ since he has barely participated in any themes related to such songs























Songs by Destiny's Child
















Say My Name‘Say My Name’ would have looked better if done by Atomic Kitten and released in 1999 instead of 2000
Survivor
‘Survivor’ should also have been done by Atomic Kitten given that the theme of the song is more worthy of having been sung by the band instead of Destiny’s Child having done it
Cater to U
‘Cater to U’ is another song that suits Atomic Kitten more than Destiny’s Child

The Hurricane: Fact vs Fiction

                                              Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter vs George Benton Rubin Carter, a former middleweight boxer nicknamed ‘Hurricane’ for his fighting style is one of the world’s most famous victims of injustice, having spent 18 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. He was further immortalized by the Bob Dylan song Hurricane which was sung to protest his 1967 conviction of the killings of three people in a bar, the same conviction re-imposed on Carter in 1976. In 1985, Carter was released by a federal judge who ruled that the former middleweight contender had not received a fair trial noting that the case was based on racism and the withholding of evidence. Memories of my grandfather

It has been exactly a month since I lost my Grandfather, Mohan Wagh who succumbed to his battle against a stroke that consumed him late last year. I cannot believe he is gone and I am going to miss him. Trips to Mumbai, India where he and my grandmother live will not be the same for any one of us without him. Knowing my grandfather though, he would want me to carry on with life and continue to happily live it and that is what has inspired me to want to create some of the best memories I have ever had with him. I am beginning from what I can clearly remember more so than between the ages of 1 and 4 since the ones after those age gaps are clearer although I have chosen to leave some years out because they do not really count the way the mentioned ones do.
